EAST PEORIA -- The Eastside Volleyball Club, Inc. is pleased to offer USA Volleyball sanctioned Mini Volleyball. The Mini Volleyball program has 3 seperate age groups and divisions and is being offerd to boys/girls ages 3 years to 11 years. The age categories are VolleyTots (3 yrs to 5 yrs), VolleyMidgets (6 yrs to 8 yrs), VolleyKids (9 ys to 11 yrs.) The program is designed for basic entry level skills to prepare and lay ground work for the USA Volleyball Juniors program, that Eastside Volleyball Club also offers. The programming is a collaborative effort between USA Volleyball Grass Roots Membership Director John Kessel and Eastside Volleyball Club President/CEO Tim Vande Schraaf. Scripted skills sessions and competitions will be performed utilziing the Mini Volleyball Manual that has been written as a result of the 3 year study. The program for the first session wil begin on Friday, March 12 at the Peoria River Plex and run every week until April 23. The competiton dates will be April 3 and April 25, also at the Peoria River Plex. The VolleyTots and VolleyMidgets will train each Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and Volleykids will train from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. The cost for the program is $40.

EAST PEORIA -- The Eastside Volleyball Club, Inc. is pleased to offer the VIP (Volleyball Incentive Program)Program for the 2010 Tournament Series as an incentive to give back to clubs that send multiple teams to most of the Eastside events. All events will be eligible for this savings, except the events at Culver-Stockton College. Our events all have head officials provided, which does drive the cost up, but in our surveys, the clear message we hear is that clubs want officials as it keeps the tournament running on time and brings continuity to the event. We think we are the same cost if not cheaper than most clubs that provide the same service we provide. At our 2-day events each team will see 6-8 matches and at our 1 day events, each team should see between 3-5 matches. The VIP Program will allow the clubs to mix and match age groups, and dates to get where you need to on the tournament days. The only caveat is that we recommend entering early as we will only allow so many of these on specific dates as we need to make our expenses. We are able to offer this savings primarily due to our suppliers working with us. During these tough economic times, we recognize the hardships that can fall on clubs. The VIP form should be filled and submitted with tournament registration.
